Teacher/Tutor (Science) and University/ HE Couseling
Experienced Science teacher (M.Sc., Ph.D., PGCE and Level 2,3 & 4 Diploma in Special Education Needs) with teaching experience in U.K. Schools as well as active science research in several U.K. Russell Group Universities. Experience in teaching numerous students (U.K. National Curriculum) and can teach topics in different specifications (GCSE/IGCSE, IB, AQA/OCR/Edexcel/Pearson). Specialise in linking areas in the U.K. National Curriculum to advances in science as well as cross-curricular topics such as statistics, finance, business, commercialisation and entrepreneurship (to promote synoptic thinking). Also, a STEM Teacher.
Teaching/tutoring experience (NTP trained): 11plus, KS2, KS3, KS4 (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics) and A-Level (Biology/Chemistry), BTEC/Vocational and Applied science.
Experience includes teaching face-to-face, online tutoring and mentoring/guidance (several national and international students). Aim to ensure student progress via building student self-confidence through teacher input, guided practice and independent practice.
Teacher/Tutor (Maths) and University/ HE Couseling
Qualified Maths teacher (QTS, PGCE) and an Engineering Graduate with experience in teaching in various U.K. Schools. Main focus is on building pupil independence and ownership over their learning through teacher input, guided practice and independent practice (using differentiated exam questions), to build pupil knowledge and help them reach their lesson objective/ learning goal(s).
